Our Services

Hiring Local Domestic Helpers: HK$2880

Local Domestic Helpers refer to helpers currently located in Hong Kong who are going to complete their employment contracts soon. MAKA contacts and connects these local helpers for you and arrange them with new employment opportunities. They usually have lots of working experiences and there are a lot of choices. Local helpers have different end-of-contract dates for their current contracts, which enable flexible arrangements and suit the employers who need helpers rather urgently.

Included:

- Recruitment advertisements
- Interview coordination and arrangement for employers and helpers (Maximum 2 helpers per interview)
- Provision of interview venues and assistance from staff

- Matching services (sales consultation and advice)

- Processing fees for the Philippines Consulate

- Hong Kong Immigration Department visa

- Labor Ordinances consultation

- Translation and counselling services for helper

Not Included:

- One-way flight from Philippines to Hong Kong

- Hong Kong mandatory compensation insurance

- Full medical check up in Hong Kong

Hiring Overseas Domestic Helpers: HK$6880

Overseas domestic helpers refer to helpers currently located in the Philippines. Experiences depend on each individual helper. They may not necessarily have experiences working overseas / in Hong Kong. Some of them had been working overseas and returned Philippines for various reasons. The Philippines Consulate does not consent Hong Kong citizens to hire helpers directly from the Philippines without an agency. They are usually eager to work, but the hiring process takes a moderate period of time. On average a helper takes approximately 3 months to arrive in Hong Kong from the date you successfully matched with her.

Included:

- Hong Kong airport pickup upon arrival and consulate registration

- Visa and other departure expenses to the Philippines government

- Processing fees for the Philippines Consulate

- Full medical check up before arrival in Hong Kong:

  Chest X-Ray; tests for HbsAg, anti-HIV, VDRL, pregnancy etc.

- Hong Kong Immigration Department visa

- Assistance in application of helper's Hong Kong I.D.

- Labor Ordinances consultation

- Translation and counselling services for helper

Not Included:

- Compulsory Insurance in Philippines (HK$1300)

Terms for changing helpers

Employers can change helpers within 4 months from the start of every employment, up to 3 times within the first year at a discounted rate per helper of  HK$5900 (OverseasHK$2680 (Local).

Direct Named Hire for

Non-Finished Contract Helpers: HK$4880

Included:

- Visa Documents Processing fees

- Visa and other departure  expenses to the Philippines government

- Processing fees for the Philippines Consulate

- Full medical check up before arrival in Hong Kong:

  Chest X-Ray; tests for HbsAg, anti-HIV, VDRL, pregnancy etc.

- Hong Kong Immigration Department visa

- Assistance in application of helper's Hong Kong I.D.

- Labor Ordinances consultation

- Translation and counselling services for helper

Not Included:

- Compulsory Insurance in Philippines (HK$1300)

Terms for changing helpers

Fees to be paid by the helper (with valid NC-II)

- Training and medical fees of 5,500 Philippines Pesos (About HK$800).

Contract Renewal/Transfer for

Finishing Contract Helpers

Contract Renewal does not involve matching services from MAKA. Instead, MAKA provides services of handling administrations during the recruitment. No matter contract renewal for the same employer or contract transfer for a new employer, MAKA is doing all the paper work for you at a reasonable cost.

 

Employers should note that some employment agencies offer "Self-matching of helpers" services at a very low price which only cover handling of administrations. Consumers are advised to choose carefully and understand the exact services which you are paying for.



For Finishing Contract Helpers in Hong Kong:

Contract Transfer(New Employer): HK$2680

Contract Renewal(Same Employer): HK$1980
